Mindset Owner Scott Maughan landed a 35lb mirror at Bluebell Lakes, on Sandmartin Lake, on 21 May 2024, and it's a new personal best.
There was nothing complicated about it. Scott kept things simple with a hair rig, fished in a margin swim between two weed beds. Sometimes the quiet spots close in are exactly where a big fish wants to be, and this one proved it.
The bait was all Mindset Baits®: SURGE Boilies, SURGE Pop-ups Yellow, and INFUSE Liquid. It's the same bait we make and sell straight to anglers, and seeing it put a new PB on the bank for one of our own owners makes this one extra special.
Congratulations, Scott, on a brilliant mirror and a well-earned PB.
